Already 20 years ago I was fascinated from the old mechanically controlled knitting-machines with there over 100 Bowden wires and adjustment screws (BENTLEY, IRMAG, UNIPLET, EPPINGER and MERZ). The correct interplay of cylinder, drum and chain was a challenge for me. However, changing of styles and patterns on the machines was very difficult and combined with a lot of work. Luckily today with the computer-controlled machines it goes much faster. 

From 1992 to 1993  I gathered my first experiences abroad. I supported the company GLOBE KNITTING (Sri Lanka) to establish the socks and tights production. I have got the D3VC-machines running and trained local staff.

From 1994 to 1995 I extended my experiences in the pantyhose production at the company FALKE in Lippstadt (MERZ, SANTONI and LONATI).

In 1995 I had got the possibility to go again to Sri Lanka. At the company ESKIMO I was as a Technical leader of the knitting department responsible for more than 100 machines of MATEC, SANTONI, COLOSIO and BENTLEY. To my job contains also the preparing of styles and patterns, the testing of new materials and the training of local staff.

In 2001 I started up my own business. I work worldwide (map) as service technician.

From2001 until 2007 I was working as Freelance for MATEC. On behalf of MATEC I have installed different machine models, repaired machines and trained local staff worldwide.

Since the closing of the factory of MATEC S.p.A in Scandicci I keep on working for several clients in Germany (for example Kunert-Werke GmbH and Vatter GmbH) and other clients at the whole world.
